Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine inequality and the leading economic sector in Muaro Jambi district with a period of 5 years from 2016 to 2020. The research method used is to use the Williamsom index calculation and Static Location Quotient by taking secondary data obtained from sources. Central Bureau of Statistics Muaro Jambi. The results of the study show that inequality is increasing from 2016 to 2020 from the calculation of the Williamson index. Meanwhile, from the calculation of the Static Location Quotient , the leading sectors in Muaro Jambi district are the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors, processing industry, transportation and warehousing, and other services. The non-leading sectors in Muaro Jambi district are mining and quarrying, electricity and gas supply, water supply, waste management, waste and recycling, construction, wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair, accommodation and food and drink provision, information and communication, financial and insurance services, real estate, corporate services, government administration, defense and compulsory social security, education services, and health services and social activities.

Abstract

Geographically, the province on the island of Java is a strategic area for the national economy because of its more advanced economic growth and development compared to other regions and has a relatively high population. Regional differences on the island of Java which have their own characteristics that affect different development patterns, the island of Java is also inseparable from the history of regional infrastructure development on the island of Java which is far more advanced than other islands in Indonesia. This study aims to determine how big the influence of GDP, Domestic Investment, Foreign Investment, and the Provincial Minimum Wage on Labor Absorption in Java, partially or simultaneously. The results of this study GDP has a positive and significant effect on Labor Absorption, Domestic Investment (PMDN) has a positive and significant impact on Labor Absorption, Foreign Investment has a positive and significant impact on Labor Absorption, and the Provincial Minimum Wage has a positive and significant effect on Employment. has no positive and insignificant effect on Labor Absorption.

Abstract

The economic development of a country or region is basically closely related to human resources, natural resources, technology, capital, and others. The role of humans is very important to manage, develop and develop their regions both economically and with workforce readiness. The success of regional economic development can be measured by high economic growth and increased employment. The economic growth approach is widely used in several regions in developing regional economic sectors which are expected to increase employment. The absorption of Regency and City workers in East Java shows that they are in the medium category, the lowest employment is in Batu City as many as 20,000 workers throughout 2016-2020. The number of IKM, Regency and City businesses in East Java is in the medium category, namely 18 districts and cities from 37 districts and cities. There are 8 districts and cities in the high category where the largest number of IKM companies are in Malang district with a total of 39,970 companies. Meanwhile, judging from the investment value in the medium category, only Malang and Surabaya regencies are included in the high category. And the production value there are 5 districts and cities with a high category where Malang Regency is one of the largest with an average of 8.177.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the real impact of the covid019 pandemic on the income of coffee farmers and the strategies taken by coffee farmers in Baturetno Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. The population in this study were 723 coffee farmers. The research sample was taken intentionally. The data analysis technique in this study is the analysis of the paired sample t-test difference test and descriptive analysis. The results showed that, based on the results of the different paired sample t-test, the following results were obtained: (1) there was a significant difference between income before the covid-19 pandemic and during the covid-19 pandemic. (2) The strategy taken by coffee farmers to maintain their business is to carry out promotions via online or digital platforms, process products before they are marketed, change business strategies, survive and continue agricultural activities as usual.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Effectiveness of Village Fund Allocation Management (ADD) and to find out the factors that hinder in realize the allocation of village funds in Rempek Village in 2015-2019. The analytical techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques, descriptive analysis techniques using effectiveness techniques and creteria effectiveness ratios. The results showed that the Effectiveness of Village Fund Allocation Management in Rempek Village from 2015-2019 was already in the effective category, effectiveness levels respectively in 2015 (99.66%), 2016 (98.31%), 2017 (96.84%), 2018 (98.40%), 2019 (91.36%). Factors that hinder in realize the allocation of village funds in Rempek village are human resources, facilities supporting inadequate village fund allocation management, and disbursement of late village funds allocation. To overcome obstacles in the realization of village funds allocation can be done with training, budget assessment, and budgeting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of local original income, number of generations, gross regional domestic product on the human development index in the district of South Kalimantan province from 2015-2019. The research method used is panel data by taking secondary data and the analytical tools used are panel data regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study are partially local revenue, the number of labor force, and gross regional domestic product have a positive and significant effect on the human development index in the district of South Kalimantan province. And simultaneously Regional Original Income, Total Labor Force, and Gross Regional Domestic Product have a significant effect on the human development index in the district of South Kalimantan province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, level of education and health on the number of poor people in the Regency/City of Bali Province. In this study, the high poverty rate in the Regency/City of the Province of Bali is a problem that will be studied. The method used in this study is a quantitative panel data method with the help of software eviews 9. The data used is secondary data, using panel data methods (cross-section) and (time series). The period in this analysis is 2007-2016 and 9 districts/cities in the province of Bali. The results showed that simultaneously the variable economic growth (X1) had a positive and significant effect on the number of poor people in the Regency/City of Bali Province. Meanwhile, the education level variable (X2) and the health variable (X3) have a negative and significant effect on the number of poor people in the Regency/City of Bali Province. Abstract

This study aims to analyze employment conditions and how inflation affects economic growth, minimum wages and employment in Banten Province. The object of this research is focused on Banten Province with data published by BPS Banten province. The data collection method used is a study of documentation derived from the publications of the Central Statistics Agency. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis in the form of time series multiple linear regression analysis based on classical assumption testing. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence on inflation, economic growth, minimum wages and employment on unemployment in Banten Province. The results of further research show that inflation, economic growth, minimum wages on unemployment in Banten Province simultaneously or together. The suggestion of this research is to encourage local governments to increase the capacity of human resources that can increase productivity, economic growth, employment and pay attention to unemployment in Banten Province. So as to reduce the number of unemployed in Banten Province

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the human development index in the Gerbangkertosusila Plus area of East Java Province. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method and the variables used in this study are economies, population, poverty, and special allocation funds in the gate area of ​​kertosusila plus. The data used in this study were obtained from BPS East Java Province. The results of this study indicate that the per capita GRDP has a positive effect, population density has a negative effect, the number of poor people has a negative effect, the special allocation fund for education has a positive effect and the special allocation fund for health has a negative effect on the human development index in the Gerbangkertosusila Plus area.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the Human Development Index in the Madura Island region. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method and the variables used in this study are HDI, per capita GRDP, Health Sector Budget, and Education Sector Budget on Madura Island. The data used in this study were obtained from BPS East Java Province. The results of this study indicate that GRDP per capita has a positive effect, the Health Sector Budget has a negative effect, and the Education Sector Budget has a positive effect on the Human Development Index in all districts on Madura Island.
